These are some pictures I took while on a trip to Perry Lakes Park near Marion, Alabama. Having these pictures allows me to examine the birds more closely, noting their features. And my challenge is to correctly identify them. I am just learning and would appreciate any comments from knowledgeable birders. I'll try to identify the birds, but may need help identifying gender or whether it is an adolescent or an adult. Also if the bird, when I shot it, was local to that area or migratory.
